This standard helps create a secure environment by increasing cardholder data, thereby reducing credit card fraud. Wix uses cryptographic hash functions to protect your information.

Your password is stored as a hash digest, and in the event of an attack, your password cannot be recovered from their servers.
Wix.com is certified to comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield and Swiss-US Privacy Shield   data protection framework established by the United States Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information transmitted by the European Union and Switzerland and therefore adheres to the principles set out in the Privacy Shield.
